Chelsea have reignited their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Isco and would be willing to pay €55m to sign him.
That’s consistent with El Desmarque Madrid, who say the Blues have turned their attention back to the Spaniard after his recent impressive displays.
Isco has been out of favour at Madrid again this season, struggling to convince manager Zinedine Zidane he’s deserve a starting role.
He has recently found himself back within the picture, though, and his impressive performances in those games has caught Chelsea’s attention.
According to the web site , they’re willing to ‘go with everything’ to undertake and sign the player and have already held conversations together with his agents.
Chelsea want to possess the simplest midfield within the Premier League and need Isco to be the creator, with N’Golo Kanté doing the defensive work.
They are willing to pay €55m to sign him but are likely to face resistance from Madrid, where it’s ‘expected’ he will get more game time between now and therefore the end of the season.
Florentino Pérez has ‘no intention’ of selling the midfielder either, although a ‘good proposal’ could change his mind at the top of the season.
